For homework, go through all the blogs and revise what we have learnt. Do the exercises on the blogs, again.
And write a composition about your Easter holidays. Tell what you do in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening. On Monday or on Friday. At the weekend… of your Easter holidays!

What do you Study in ...?

Monday 16th March, 2015

Hi again!
How’s everybody?
Yesterday Marcos came to class but Silvia, Sara and Lucía didn’t come. Where are you?
We started the lesson with Paula telling us about Coby and her in Australia!

David asked a very good question: “Are there kangaroos on the beach in Australia?”
Then, David explained to all of us and especially to Marcos, because he couldn’t come to the park last Monday, what our project consisted of. You gave certificates. What kind of certificates? Who made them? Who did you give the certificates or diplomas to? Why did you give the certificates?
We did a listening about school subjects.

What do they study in English?
They study nouns and verbs.
What do they study in art?
They study drawings and paintings.
What do they study in history?
They study the Greeks and the Romans.
What do they study in Geography?
They study mountains and rivers.
What do they study in science?
They study biology and chemistry.
What do they study in maths?
They study multiplication and division.

We finished the song. What a Wonderful World.
And we did some revision exercises.
You can revise the verb to be and the verb to have got, here.

And to end with, in the last week of class after the break, we are having a ‘Flea market’. This is a market to sell things we don’t want or things we have made. So, please, bring something to sell (and some money to buy some stuff). You can make bracelets, cakes or bring toys or books… whatever!
We’ll give away (donate) the money we get to a charity
And that’s all!

School Subjects & Certificate Awards to Good Citizens

Monday 9th March, 2015

Hello again! Did you like our class yesterday?

I think you did! It was wonderful being outdoors (out of the classroom) in such good weather!
What was the weather like yesterday? It was quite hot and really sunny. It was a beautiful spring day. (Yes, I know. It is still winter. But it was like spring, wasn’t it?)

We started with Silvia’s wonderful (fantastic) presentation about her trip to Japan with Coby! No, David; the Japanese flag doesn’t have anything black in it. It’s a big red circle on a white background.

Then, we checked homework not homeworks.
We read and answered the questions about Alice. It’s cold and rainy in winter in Alice’s town. It’s quite cool and sunny in the summer. She wears a coat, a scarf, a hat, boots and gloves in winter. In summer she wears T-shirts and shoes or a skirt but she never wears sandals or shorts.
After that, we went on (continued) talking about what you study.
What do you study on Monday?
First we have English. Then, we have Art. Next we have the break and we play in the playground. After the break, we have I.T. (I.T stands for Information Technology). Finally, we have P.E. (Physical Education).
Can you answer these questions?
·         What year are you in?
·         What do you study on Tuesday?
·         Do you study Chemistry?
·         What do you study in Geography?
(If you answer these questions, you’ll have 1 extra point. If they are correct, you´ll have 2!!!)
We learnt how to say easy mathematical operations in English. Do you remember?

We started listening to a song about school subjects called ‘What a wonderful World’ but we didn’t have time to finish it. We’ll finish it next Monday.
This is the song.
Finally, you finished your fantastic certificates or diplomas and …we went to the park! This was part of our project. The third stage: DO.
Our class finishing the certificates
What did we do in the park? This is what you have to do for homework. Write a composition and tell why we went to the park and what you did there. Do you remember the questions you asked? Eva, don’t forget homework, please.
You can write it on the blog or on a separate piece of paper. I’m going to correct it and give you points for the games.
We thought of Marcos a lot! He didn’t come to class and miss this part of the project. Well, maybe we repeat it…
We hope you are OK, Marcos.
