Hi again!
How’s everybody?
Yesterday Marcos came to class but Silvia, Sara and Lucía didn’t come.
Where are you?
We started the lesson with Paula telling us about Coby and her in
Australia!
David asked a very good question:
“Are there kangaroos on the beach in Australia?”
Then, David explained to all of us and especially to Marcos, because he couldn’t come to the park last Monday, what our project consisted of. You gave certificates. What
kind of certificates? Who made them? Who did you give the certificates or diplomas
to? Why did you give the certificates?
We did a listening about school subjects.
What do they study in English?
They study nouns and verbs.
What do they study in art?
They study drawings and paintings.
What do they study in history?
They study the
Greeks and the
Romans.
What do they study in Geography?
They study mountains
and rivers.
What do they study in science?
They study biology and chemistry.
What do they study in maths?
They study multiplication and division.
We finished the song. What a Wonderful World.
And we did some revision exercises.
You can revise the verb to be and the verb to have got, here.
And to end with, in the last week of class after the break, we are having a ‘Flea market’. This is a market to sell things we don’t want or things we have made. So, please, bring something to sell (and some money to buy some stuff). You can make bracelets, cakes or bring toys or books… whatever!
We’ll give away (donate) the money we get to a charity
And that’s all!
