Prepositions & a Tree House

 Monday 4th May
Hello! How are you?
Eva, are you OK? What happened last Monday?

In our class last Monday, Marcos told us about Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the USA. He was born in Kentucky. He died in a theatre. An actor killed him. As Marcos told us very little, we watched a video where we learnt more things.
You can watch it here, again. (There are some mistakes in the subtitles).

After that, we read about Vicky and John and his dad making a tree house.

Vicky and John want to make a tree house with their dad. They’re in the garden. They’re looking at the tree. Dad needs to go up the tree to make the floor.
Their dad is sitting on the floor in the tree. Vicky and John are giving him some wood. He wants to make four walls.
Now is the afternoon and the tree house is finished. There’s a door, two windows and some stairs below. Now the children are in the house. Dad is going up the stairs. The children are very happy. Would you like to have a tree house?
We continued talking about houses, so as to learn prepositions. We used balconies!

The balcony above the yellow balcony is green. The balcony below the yellow one is blue. The balcony between the green one and the red one is purple. The balcony next to the blue one is orange.

For homework, don’t forget to write a composition about the place where you live. Look at the chart and follow the planning.
