Monday 27th
April
Hello! How are you? This week is shorter! We have an extra day for the weekend. It’s May Day, Labor Day, all over the world and in Spain; it’s also Mother’s Day. Do you have a present for your mum?
We started the class
with Paula telling us about Henry the VIII. Coby and Paula travelled to
the past and met the king of England. He had (in the past)six wives! Then, we
read about him on our huge (very big) new television screen. We have
a TV in the classroom now.

After that, we talked about the places where Lenny lives and where we live. We asked questions to our classmates.
Lenny lives in
a village,
in the country.
There are five houses in his street. His house has got three floors. Lenny walks
upstairs
to his bedroom
because there isn’t
a lift.
The living room and the kitchen are downstairs. His house hasn’t got a balcony but
it’s got a
beautiful garden.
Remember the rooms in the house.
Where does
Sue live?
She lives in a houseboat. The houseboat is made of wood. It’s in the river.
And this is your homework. Describe the places where Ben, Lucy, Tom,
Anna and Sam live. (Like the example above). And finish p.25 Exercises 4 and 5.
We described the places
in the pictures and listened to people telling us about them.
Picture 1 is an industrial, modern city.
Picture 2 is a friendly, historic town.
Picture 3 is a crowded tourist seaside resort.
Picture 4 is a quiet, friendly village.
