What's the Weather Like?

Monday 2nd February, 2015

Hi everybody!
It’s good to see that David is OK.
We started the class with our ‘Talk Show’.

Today’s programme was called: ‘Do you…?’
…paint, play cards, go to the cinema…
One of you was the presenter and the other was the guest. And we asked and answered the questions in turns.

Last week, Coby and Sara went to France. Sara brought us a presentation about their trip. They went sightseeing (visited monuments and famous places) in Paris. They visited the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame – the big cathedral – and Versailles. They enjoyed a lot.

Silvia also brought us the video of her trip (travelling) to Italy. Let’s see if we are able to upload both presentations on the blog!

Then, we talked about the weather.
We ask about the weather like this: ‘What’s the weather like?’ It’s …

Then, we played ‘Japanese Whispers’ with weather words.
There was a tie! The two teams had the same score; the same number of points.

Homework: write the weather forecast (prediction) for three days. (You can make it up -invent it-)
Example: What’s the weather like today? Today Tuesday , It’s sunny and very hot! It’s boiling! . The weather on Wednesday is warm and windy. The weather at the weekend is cool and rainy.
Also find material and think about activities you are going to do in our ‘Flipped Class’ next week. The topics are ‘Saint Valentine’s Day’ and ‘Carnival’.
